'75 Paul Brown MPA '79 is owner or Willamette Valley Events, an events planning store in McMinnville. Kathleen Fisher works at Indian River Community Col– lege in Fon Pierce, Florida. Fisher writes, "After surviving three hurricanes in two years, I moved off the beach into a rormer orange grove." Lee Lacey received the Portland Downtown Neighborhood Asso– ciation's inaugural First Neigh– bor Award. Lacey has been affiliated wi th the association and its prede essor, the Portland Downtown Community Associa– tion, since the 1980s and served three terms as the group's presi– dent. He worked on plans to preserve the South Park Blocks, bui ld a park on the block west or the Fox Tower, and restore the Shemansky Fountain across from the Portland Center for the Performing Ans.
