Fowler is president of F & F Structures, Inc., Oregon City, Ore., and Galbraith is planning director for Oregon City. Diane F. Jarvis (BS) has joined the board of directors for H.A. Anderson Co., Portland, after being named corporate secretary– treasurer for the large industrial and commercial contracting firm. David L. McClung (MBA), Far West Federal Bank senior vice president and manager of the Marketing Group, Portland, has been elected vice chairman of the Financial Institutions Marketing Association. David M. Porter (BS) has been appointed executive director of Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland. He formerlywas execu– tive director of the Northwest Service Center in Portland. '76 James R. Dunlap (BS), credit man– ager for Burns Bros. Inc., Port– land, has been elected president of the National Association of Credit Management-Oregon Inc. David E. Ford (BS) has been named programs supervisor for programs management at Port– land General Electric Co. He joined the company in 1977 and most recently served as a com– munity relations representative. Catherine Galbraith (MUS), di– rector of the Oregon City, Ore. Planning Department, has re– ceived a "meritorious project award" from the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Associ– ation for creating a special videotape on her city's historical preservation program. Marshall R. Turner (BS) has been appointed a registered rep– resentative for the investment se– curities firm of Murphey Favre, Inc. He will be based in the firm 's new Portland office. Conrad J . Yost (BS) has been named president and chiefexecu– tive officer at DeAnza Bank, Sunnyvale, Calif. Yost recently was elected to the board of the Sunnyvale Chamber of Com– merce. '77 Robert Cary (MS) owns and oper– ates an independent laboratory in Forest Grove, Ore. Sunset Laboratory conducts air pollution analyses, makes specialty instru– ments which continously moni– tor and control atmospheric cor– rosion, and manufactures and markets interfacing boards for Apple II computers. Penny Crislip (BS) is the new nurse manager at Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin, Ore. Cris– lip's responsibilities include over– sight of the operating rooms and the post-anesthesia care unit. Eddie Lam (BS), and Gregory Shook ('80 BS) are among four new associate dentists added to the practice at Willamette Dental Group, Portland. Michael C. Larimore ('77 BS) has been appointed to the post of director of operations at Kentrox Industries, Portland. Judith May (MS) will be the new Sisters School District superin– tendent in Sisters, Ore. this fall. She is the former director of personnel for the neighboring Bend-LaPine School District. Nancy E. Struble (BA) has been named a vice president at Far West Federal analysis and fore– casting manager for the bank. John Turchi (MA) will be the new principal at Lake ridge High School this fall in Lake Oswego, Ore. He was formerly the prin– cipal at Lake Oswego High School. '78 Vicki R. Chase (BS), assistant vice president/ securities for Standard Insurance Co., Portland, was one of 13 local women recognized for their community service efforts and professional accomplish– ments during the 1987 YWCA Women of Achievement awards ceremony held Apr. 23 in Port- 1 , land. Debra Harris (MST, '82 MST), a teacher at West Linn High School, West Linn, Ore., has been named the recipient of the Oregon Governor's Council for Health, Fitness and Sports Leader– ship Award as the outstanding professional of 1986. She is the current president-elect of the Oregon Association for the Ad– vancement of Health Education. Hans Matschukat (BA) hasjoined PhotoCraft, Inc., Portland, as gen– eral manager. He formerly worked for Wy' East Co lor, Portland, where he was general manager. Gregson Parker (BS) has been admitted as a shareholder in the Portland office of Babicky, Venne, Bunce & Parker, certified public accountants and business consultants.
