Janice Page is a member of the United States Coast Guard and is stationed in Washington. Her specialty is oil spill response in O regon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Freddye Webb-Petett has been appointed to the board of direc– tors for the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Depend– ency Inc. Webb-Petett is asso– ciate program director for leadership development at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle C reek, Mich. '74 Alcena Boozer MS has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors for United Way of the Columbia– Willamette. Boozer is principal of Jefferson High School in Portland. Molly Cook was rece ntly pro– moted to supervisor of technica l publications in the Corvallis offi ce of the engineering consult– ing firm CH2M Hill lnc. She also continues to serve as an adjunct faculty member with PSU's Professional Deve lopment Center. Dennis Derby '78 MBA has been elected 1992 vice presi– dent/treasurer of the Oregon State Home Builders Associa– tion. Derby owns Double D Development Inc., in Portland. Christopher K. Jeffrey MSW, '85 MPA is senior vice president in the Portland office of Lee Hecht Harrison, an outplace– ment consulting firm. Jerald R. Calavan '69 is a senior consult– ant with the firm. Daniel Hickman is a supervisi ng chemist for the O regon Depart– ment of Environmental Quality in Portland. Hickman writes that he's married with three children. Patricia Koehler has been work– ing on a census of overland emigrant diaries for the Oregon Historical Society. The project is for the 1993 celebration of the l50th anniversary of the Oregon Trail. Koehler volunteers in the Society's research library. Patrick D. Schwab has been ap– pointed fu ll-time project director of Governor Roberts's Task Force on Technology Transfer. Michael J. Wade is working for the U.S. Postal Service. Wade has been with the service since 1977. '75 Anna Jaeger Brown was recent– ly appointed a Multnomah County District Judge. Brown was with the Portland law firm Bulliver, Houser, Bailey, Pendergrass & Hoffman. Linda Folkestad '79 MBA has been elected secretary of the O regon chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Mem– ber. Folkestad is vice president and Northwest regional manager of A lquest Property Services Corporation in Portland. Marcia Gregor Garrick '90 Ed.D is principal of Central Elemen– tary School in Newberg, O re. Garrick is married to '79 graduate O. John Garrick, and their daughter Teresa is a 1990 PSU graduate. Kenneth R. Greger owns G reger Associates, an executive search firm in Los Angeles. Greger writes that even though he has li ved in Los Angeles since 1980, he is "still an av id Blazer fan." '76 Bonnie D. Hopper MST is an elementary physical educa tion instructor in Anchorage, A laska. She has rece ived several educa– tor awards and is a candidate for the nat ional title of Outstanding Physical Education Educator. John Mann is pastor of Peace Presbyterian Church in St. Louis Park , Minn. Reverend Mann has a Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minn., and a doctorate in ministry from McCormick Seminary in Chicago, Ill. He and his wife Sally have three children. Rebecca Judd lives in A laska and travels throughout the state delivering alcohol and drug education classes to youth . Judd writes that she travels by boat, small plane, snow machine, dog team and sometimes a car. Ronald Oliver MBA was recent– ly elected treasurer of Peterson & Associates, a Vancouver, Wash., accounting firm. Karen Whitaker is d irector of the Oregon office of Rural Health , a state office that serves as a cleari~1ghouse for info rma– tion on rural health issues and as an advocate for improv ing rural hea lth care. '78 Edward Dundon MBA is a com– mercial real estate broker and partner in Dunlea-Dundon Co., specializing in hotel sales and development. Dundon, lives in Portland with his wife and two children. Larry Farnand is a free- lance graphic designer in Portland, specializing in corporate design. Sharon E. Peterson and Dennis Hahn '87 have formed Z/Com Incorporated, a Portland market– ing communications firm. Gary Schull writes that after his graduation from PSU he spent 10 1/z years as an Ai r Force pilot. He now is a pilot for American Ai rlines and lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area. PSU 25
