Laurie Fosmark is a reading speacialist and oral communica– tions teacher at Hillsboro U nion High School. Robert Matteson , who run a pellet mi ll in Donald, O re., also paints and sells space pictures and continues wo rk on his novel. Wood i married and has two daughters. '78 Bet Borgeson , an arti t, has authored three books on colored pencil technique. Her fi rst book, The Colored Pencil, is in its 10th year as a best seller for it publisher Watson– G uptill Pulications of ew York . The award recognizes outstand– ing teaching performance and the abi lity to moti viate youth to take part in a lifetime of ph y ica l acti vity. Harris has been a teacher in West Linn, O re., for the past seven years. Maril yn Pitts M T taught high school social srudie for I8 1/z yea r , and is now teaching G ED preparation at Portland Community ollege's Southeast campus. Rev. Sallie Shippen is the rector of the Epi copal C hurch of r. John in Montclair, Ca lif. . Smith was named vice ~----~ president and manager of the newly opened Fife branch of U.S. Bank in Tacoma, Wash. Smith, who has been in banking since 1978, is a past instructor with the Oregon Financial Institution Educa tion Assoc iation and serves as cor– porate board member for the Boy and G irls C lub of Tacoma/Pierce County. Smith li ves in A uburn, Wash ., with his wife, Linda, and three daughters. Margaret Gentry Walter M T taught music for 20 years at Molalla El ementary chool. Walter performs in the santuary choir and bell choir at the First C hristian C hurch, and volun– teers her time with the Portland chapter of Community Concert · Association. '79 Bradl ey K.
